So I really didn't think about how I wanted my tank and now I'm noticing I did it allllllllll wrong! Placing corals is a nightmare, so I was thinking of an overhaul.

But I have a foxface that is really friendly anytime you come around the tank... When would be the best time to change the rocks?

I really want a blue fish, I had a bicolor angel and he was a coral nipper. This would be the last fish for the tank, I have the foxface fairy wrasse, 2 clowns, and a scopas tang that will be moving out in the next day or so. This is a 72 gal tank. I maybe moving the foxface out also

Could I add a yt damsel? Or any other suggestions

Anytime really, just try and minimize as much stirring up the sand as possible..then you will have less problems after changing it. And after i would do a water change.

I would not add a yt damsel because of how aggressive they are.

It probably won't sting you if you don't try to touch it. Just do the work and you should be OK.

    I'd wear aqua gloves.

Yeah, you could wear gloves or something, but if you want, it wouldnt be much harm to remove him if you could..But its your choice

I hate damsels they will pick all your inverts to death. Sorry if my opinion seems biased. I had one and it terrorised all fish additions, even a large sailfin tang. Then it would bite all of my shrimps antenas off. If thats not enough frustration. I spent two weeks trying to catch him before I had to completely tear the tank apart to get him out. These fish belong in the ocean in my opinion. I hate them.

I re-scaped my tank 2 times and either of the 2 times I was happy. I did learn after the 2nd time that it's better for the fish to do it with the lights out. Still do it at daytime, but with the lights out. It stresses the fish a little less.
Other than that, I don't remember anything major... just get hands on and try to be as quick as you can, without making a mess and make sure all rockwork is stacked solid.
