Tank is just over 6months old, with all level on the money. Lighting I am using a Coralife PC 4x65 4xlunars plus a 40watt PowerGlo. I just added a Green carpet to my tank on the bottom left hand side by himself and hosting a Sebae Clown, for the first 2 weeks he was looking all good and spread out. Today he is shrunk up and small. My LFS asked about my flow so I told him what I have. He said they need more flow.

My question is how should a 90gal with overflow kit built in be setup for the flow. I have a Maxijet900, an AquaClear25 and the return pump at 750gph. Attached is my current flow setup. Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the old 90 with the corner overflow. but the setup you have isnt bad. I went with the Mag 950 so my return had almost 10 times turnover to the sump but you ar close and the powerheads make up the rest. I am concerned that all your circulation is focus on the top of the tank with nothing near the middle or bottom. I like two power heard about 2-3 inches above the sand bed. I also like to bury one of those behind the rock wall. Good luck with the carpet! Beware the eat everything LOL

you might want to replace one of your power heads with something stronger like a Seio 620=620gph or something similar. Also how are your water parameters?

Phil, i will look into getting some small PH's to setup on the bottom of the tank, espically behind my rock formation. Thank you for your suggestions.
