Best way to get my Sailfin back to the LFS

Hi all

I am going to take my Sailfin back to the LFS as he is really picking on my Maroon Gold Stripe and I decided he is just too big for my 65 (probably why is picking on the Clown) (He was fine with the Clown until I upgraded last weekend from the 50 to the 65)

My question is my LFS is like 30 minutes away; would I be ok to just put him in a 5 gallon bucket with about 2.5-3 gals of tank water and covering the top with something like a piece of nylon or saranwrap?

 

that would be just fine.

 

how big is it really. and yes that sounds like the best way to me.

 

I prefer to use a cooler. that way the temperature stays more constant. JMO

 

He is about 5.5"

the 5 gallon bucket will work - does your LFS take returns? Mine does - but he only gives 50% returns, so you might make out better selling it yourself locally.

 

They give me 60% of what they sell it for...like consigment...

 

If you want to point the car east for 2 hours, i'd give you 60% what you paid for him ;D
