I hate putting my hands in the tank especially for daily tasks.

does anyone have a method to keep your hands out, other issue I have is my PBT will not eat from a clip stuck on the glass, its either got to be free hanging or on the bottom

I use a weird system that suspends from the top - probably not duplicatable (sp?) on too many other systems.

In my last tank I got a magnetic algae scraper and glued a clip to it. That way I could just slide it up to the top, put the stuff in the clip and slide it back down. They make them now so you don't have to build one, though the magnets on them aren't super powerful so don't work on larger tanks - if you've got a big tank you still need to build one. I know that doesn't solve the near term issue of your PBT not eating from clips on the glass, but he/she just needs to be trained. Put the nori in there and he'll get it in time.

Tie a string to a nice piece of rock rubble and rubber band the nori to it. Do you have other tangs in the tank that possibly eat off the veggie clip?
