I have not had any luck killing them at all. I would really like to replace all of the rock and start fresh.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I was in the same boat you are recently. Some things that worked for me was taking rockwork that did not have a lot of encrusting sps, drying it out and then recycling it for 2 weeks in a separate container. The amount of die off in your rocks is huge, with all the critters like micro brittle stars, snails, worms ect. It really needs some time to recycle and I think anything under 2 weeks in a separate container (not the sump) is risky.

I did it stages, treat about 1/3-1/4 of the rock at a time. Expect the coralline algae to bit the dust.

For the pieces (those with encrusting sps) that could not be treated by drying and recycling I use a product called Aiptasia Control, by Blue Vet. I have used every product on the market and even made up some of my own. Apply small amount with power heads off directly to the pest and let it sit for 10 minutes. No significant spread or grow back for about a month now. Probably just another kalk mixture, but I am happy with the results.

Lastly my sps did not like me messing with the tank at all, I tried the least invasive methods and ended up going this route.

You have a beautiful tank. Good luck with what ever route you go. I will be looking forward to the results.

Beautiful tank, I like Corailline's method, you have received good suggestions all around. Best of luck which ever route you go.

Thanks corailine and 2 in 10th for the compliments.
I actually just used that blue life aptasia killer and it works good for the aptasia but seemed to have caused my majanos to multiply.
I was not really planning on cleaning my current rock or really even keeping my current sps corals but I may do that if its my best option.
Corailine I have always been impressed with your sps corals, did getting rid of the soft corals help the tank and was it worth the time.

For me, yes it did help. In my past tanks or nano tanks I had a few nice sps, they grow very slowly, never showed much in the way of PE.

I ran carbon, did the water changes, attempted to keep parameters in line, did not make much of a difference.

Getting rid of the soft corals made a difference for me and limiting the lps. Some people can pull it off just fine, but I could not.

Thank you for the compliment, and good luck with the pest.

That's just the answer I was hoping for. I could tell by the growth of several sps corals that they are suffering and hopefully will improve if I go through this trouble.
