    take a sharp razorblade, and cut the shroom and close as you can to the rock..and then glue it on a piece of rubble or glue it on a frag plug..

    Unfortunately sticking your hand in the tank with a razor blade works well. Kinda scraping them off the rocks. Or just sell the rock with the shrooms attached, sometimes this is the least frustrating.

    Thanks for the replies.

    Was pretty much what I was thinking but confirmation always good . :)

    Will dig out my Exacto blades and attack some of these that are "encroaching" tomorrow.

    Put them on 1/3 ~ 1/2 light for numerous days. The mushrooms will stretch away from the rock to try and obtain more light. The just use a brand new (i.e. sharp) razor blade to cut the stalk underneath. After you've cut them and the blade is now dull, scrape the Kenya trees off the rock.

    To get the musrooms to re-attach so you can sell/trade them, there's a couple of different methods;

    1. Put some crushed coral in the bottome of a butter tub (which you've poked numerous holes into the side. Wait a week. They will attach to the rubble which you can now superglue onto frag plugs, LR rubble, etc.

    2. Find some small LR pieces or LR rubble. Using inexpensive bridal veil from a craft shop, cover the mushroom and rubberband to rock. Wait a week and remove the bridal veil.

    No doubt there but untill I have something to replace them with they add a lil depth/character to the display.

    Kinda like some of the FW plants I have kept over the years.. grow like weeds and are "tosser" plants but they work as an interim filler.
