bh 1000 and bh 2000 octopus reviews?

    hi everyone im new here. im looking for a skimmer for my 26g. and really like those bh octopus the 1000 and the bh 2000.

    any reviews ???? anyone have one?

    do u recommend me those skimmers for my tank? thx a lot.

    I have the bh1000 and love it. I would definitely buy one again. Very easy to setup, started pulling crud on the 3 day. You dont have to mess around with it to keep it skimming, just adjust the cup to the sweet spot and your set.

    thx for the reply pgoodsell, good to know that. im thinking on getting the bh 2000. are these both the 1000 and the 2000 quiet? do u guys recommend me the 2000 for my 26 g? thanks!

    You could get the 1000, that would be more than enough for a 26. The 1000 is rated up to 90gal and the 2000 is up to 120gal. Mine is actual pretty quiet. They make a little noise, but compared to my old CPR Bakpak its way quieter.

    is it recommendable to water test the octo before installing it on your tank?
