    i had a multi color in my tank and did great rarely nipped only when i didnt keep it well fed. I wish you best of luck and just keep it fed and see what happens.

    I'd try to talk you out of a sixline... mine was such a pain in the a$$... he picked on my mandarin, chased my clowns, got into fights with my Lemonpeel Angel who was easily 5x his size... somehow, he ended up jumping into the overflow and ended up in my sump, where he stays! Lucky me, because I now have a fairy wrasse and melanurus wrasse which I love! Look into the melanurus wrasse, they are prettier than the sixline, and much nicer tank mates, IME.

    As for angels, I have a Yellow/ False Lemonpeel Angel... it doesn't nip at anything, but can be a bully sometimes and defend his territory... He's actually calmed down a lot since I've added more fish... He'll eat all the meaty foods I put in the tank, and also loves nori! I believe this fish may outgrow a 40 gallon...

    The Pygmy Angel/ Centropyge Argi is an excellent fish for your size tank, though... I had one that I lost due to a tank crash (very sad, I know)... I replaced him with the lemonpeel, but I saw a pygmy at the LFS recently and missed him...

    Freshmarine is a scam company.

    I saw a multi-color angel at mark's marine for about $90 bucks not too long ago. unique looking fish..
