I just inherited a 2" bi-bolor angel from a buddy who is going overseas. He had it in a 20 gal reef, thats all i know about it. Has anyone here had any experience with them devouring flame scallops, hermit crabs, or acting like posssesed clown triggers? I have yet to witness aggression but ever since i put him in inverts are being picked off and actually eaten not just killed. Any info will be much appreciated.

Ugh. Dwarf angels are a crap shoot it seems. My old Coral Beauty was fine, but others have had problems with them.

Has he picked at any corals?

Well at least you got him out, that is the tough part. Are you going to find him a better home?

By the way, your avatar is hilarious! ;D

I lured him to the top with food and got super lucky on my 2nd try, then I brought him into work and he was adopted by a frequent customer. I love my urchin too! I set the eyes on top of him as a joke thinking he would discard them....but low and behold he kept them for some reason, they move around but he has had them for over 2 months! The coolest thing about the eyes is that i poked pin holes in them to get the air out and now there is a colony of lil critters (copepods..?) in each eye!
