bi color psuedochromis(sp?)

i have one of these guys and he is an A hole to my little clown fish they where added at the same,they are the only 2 fish in my tank.they get fed well so that should not be an issue,he keeps forcing the clown fish to the corner of the tank.i want to take him back to fish store but the lady isnt nice to me.its funny because when starts to mess with him and i am around the tank i point at him and leaves him alone for about an hour then right back at it.just wonering what i could do Thanks

 

Welcome to the world of the dottybacks. They are that way. It is in their nature to be aggressive. The orchid dottyback is probably the most mellow. I have a magenta dottyback myself. It is small, but it messes with my two small damsels (which are still bigger than him). Also, they eat ornamental shrimp. So be forewarned. No shrimp for you!!!!

well i would catch him and just take him back, if your lfs refuses to take him, there is always another one or to porcelain heaven?!
I made the mistake of getting a strawberry one once, he ripped apart my eye spot goby!

 

Hate mine too, if I can ever catch him he is going in the fuge.

 

By fuge do you mean the pond out back? ;D
