I have had a Blenny now for a week and he now swims around my tank but only eats off LR and my powerhead. I tried Spirulina Brine w/Garlic. I once left a green algae sheet for 30 minutes in tank but he never ate it. Should I try the red type? Will he survive by just picking micro algae off in the tank.
    Thanks,
    Adam

Algae is good but sometimes fish are picky and takes some time getting used to. Try some frozen brine just to get him eating and comfy then start working with the algae.

I tried the brine w/garlic twice. Should I just keep trying. It seems like he is uninterested in the food. I have 2 oscellaris clowns that got right after it. Could the Blenny be scared due to the clowns?

Yeah! My blenny was also very shy, and easily discouraged by quick clowns. Eventually, he got used to competition (it took few days) and now he's first whenever I start throwing in food. If he doesn't display sings of starvation, you just have to give him some time to acclimatize!

I'd keep trying with the brine, but don't overfeed just to get him to eat. He will come around. He could be a bit scared from the clowns, but I think he will get hungry eventually. I might try some other food, some other pellets that fall to the bottom he might become interested. Good luck, please update us.

    BiColor Blenny

Another very knowledgeable person told me that to the blenny the algae on the LR and the powerhead might be filet mignon to him while I am trying to get him to eat a sailbury steak. Go figure.
