My Bicolor is no longer a bicolor. He is now all a deep blue to black. Is this normal as they age? Has anyone else seen this? Does this mean he is getting over the hill?

He or she is still very active but just didn't know these had a color morph. I know tons of fish change colors especially with the angels but I guess that's how the cookie crumbles sometimes. Thanks for your input.

A True Bicolour Blennie stays dark purple and orange for it's entire life. Very cool that yours has changed. do you have any pics of the colour morph? Was it over night or over a long period of time?

Over time he or she just got darker and darker over several months to where the orange was no longer present. I will get some shots up tomorrow when the lights come on to show how this has turned in to a one color blenny.

I actually have a shot of him with the orange almost gone. What do you think.

That's crazy. Never heard or seen that before.

The exact same thing just happened to mine. Still super healthy and as cute as ever... just no yellow. It happened over about a month.
