    Got some pictures of my amphipods. some are close to 1/2 inch long.
    Everynight the back of my tank gets covered in them.
    Anybody want some?? haha.

    I'm jealous, I have no creatures growing in my tank. Its been up for almost a whole year now and ive yet to see any type of pod, not even one in my tank, not even at night. Any advice on how to get them in the tank

    If i new how to ship livestock safely cheaply i'de honestly catch some and send them to you. you know how to do that?
    I dont know what i've done to get so many pods. I just know i have bunches and they're getting big.

    get some rock from a fellow reefer in your area that has a good population of them in his tank, they'll reproduce from there

    I've got amphipods that I could sell as a poo poo platter. I do propogate though. Some of the ones I've seen in my tank are very large and boisterous. No prob for the mandarin...............

    I had a tank full of them that size in my Nano. I had so many that a local hobbyist came over to buy some. I just snagged a few (as many as I could catch easily), threw them into a container and let him have them for free. The big ones seem to have retired and just stay in the rock now and only the little ones come out to play. :(

    I also have them by the bucket full, just never see any big copods thou.
    not quite as big as 1/2''but thats just insane

    i got some on some chaeto i bought stuck that in my fuge a month later lots of pods all kinds everywhere try that and just move some up to there man tank if fuge is in sump ;D
