I guess my concern is that it gets fed exactly the same as the slightly larger Kole Tang, which is fat and healthy. Something must be going on internally...

More then likely an internal parasite or swim bladder issue. Anyways I dealt with internal parasites before. Kevin Kohen sent me some internal parasite medication from API. Worked great and got everything back on track. I appoligize I dont know the rest of the name for the API product, I ran through the processed pack I got and things were great from there...

is it maybe Melafix?? I know I treated pop eye with that stuff once and it works great. Plus it's coral safe. Smells a lot like tea tree oil, maybe it's made from that base.

I liked the Melafix from them. It worked good on my tang before when it had popeye.

Great, thank you very much! I will pick some up tomorrow. Then just need to catch it and put it in the 55 HT. I'll update after I start dosing the meds.

Hope the tang gers better marshall. If its a parasite I would feed as much as it will eat since the parasite inside is getting most of the food and nutrition. Just a thought;)

Thanks Dennis. Going out now to get the meds, then hopefully catch it in the next day or two to begin treatment.
