People are willing to spend up to 175,000 on a fish, usually these fish are large, very rare koi from my knowledge.

$550 plus Saturday shipping for the earlei. $700 for the lunatus pair, for which I failed twice on the female. :(
But $800 for a single fish isn't something I'll entertain unless it's something I REALLY, REALLY want. There's a few things in this category. :)

$1000 for a clam was about the stupidest thing I've ever seen in the livestock trade. But I guess kudos to LA for pricing it at a point they knew it'd sell for? Lasted only a couple minutes to boot; they probably could have gotten more.

Again, you'd be surprised what people are willing to pay for things.
