So he's open and seems happy. He isn't as skiddish as my little clam. And he seems to like his spot. His mouth is wide open and I can see inside him!! It's weird! LOL

    :)

Yes we are. I only needed a gallon to fill the new little pony tank so figuired it'd be easy/fast to just use a 1/2 in hose and nab it out of the sump. Came a little faster than I expected.

Did the new clam begin to show more mantle yet? Did the basslet acclimate good. Hope so.:)

LOL must have been typing at the same time.

You can see inside him? That's freaky! I didn't know they had mouths, just assumed the mantle had fiberous folds for filtering. (Whoa that was hard to type.)

The little fish will get braver and show itself more but I know you know that already. LOL
The damsel I put in Bucky's tank keeps hiding in the rocks, sometimes righ at the main opening to Buck's pad. If he knew who his roommate is he definately would not go to the rocks LOL.

Thanks! The giant clam decided to go free falling today. I put him back up on the rocks and he seems happy again. Gave me a good scare!

He is going to want a place to attach, so you need to find it a flat spot in your rocks.
Glad all is well. Your camera still works, right?

Well he had attached threads, because when I found him face planted there were threads attached the the rock he fell from. So...I don't know why he moved!

Haha my camera does still work, buy my tank needs a good cleaning and I'm too lazy to take pictures and upload them right now. :)

    Ah, honesty

If the perch is not stable for him he will fall off or maybe even jump trying to get comfortable.

He may also be trying to get rid of anything from his last attachment.
