Ok so its a 65g tank with 29g sump/fuge. Deminsions are 39"Lx19"Wx22"H, I have about 40lbs of live rock so there is a lot of room in the upper section of the tank for swimming room. Just don't know if my tank is long enough. Thanks!

you could probably get a tomini tang they are one of the smallest but they still might need a 75 gallon or larger

gallons wise Id say a small tang like a tomini or kole wold be ok but its more of the matter of the tanks dimensions that Id take into consideration. If it was a 48 inch tank that would make it alot easier to decide. sorry I cant be of more help but Ill see what others have to say

There's no doubt in my mind about the water volume, water changes can handle that part if it gets bad. I'm worried about swimming room...

I have a 54 corner bow with a yellow tang abt 5 years old I think the main idea is to make sure he has lots of open space to stretch his legs. And I wouldn't add any other fish that require that type of space....good luck!

I have a kole tang in my 60g and he does great, the only difference is I have a 48in tank and to be honest he really does make use of the space. Overall, I think a small tang may work but every fish is different

Picture is kinda cloudy but you can see how much room there is above the rock.
