    Your water will clear up.

Here's what my tank looked like the first couple of days I poured the water in. And, I had totally rinsed the substrate (120 lbs worth) five times!

And this is what it looked like after 48 hours, with only the powerheads and filter working:

Eventually it will clear up, but if you can manage to sneak a powerhead in there so much the better.

    Don't despair and good luck!

Well, we ended up getting an ario color (by h dor) that sits in the bottom of the tank. It works like an airator, but it moves quite a bit of water. The tank has almost cleared up.

The bonus, is in the center there is a raised portion that has 4 blue LEDs that glow softly. It looks pretty erie at night.

    Theduck,

Dont even worry about it, When I started up my 110gal in October I first started off with only water and and Instant Ocean salt and let it sit.

My Tank was cloudy for about 2 and half weeks.

Here a few things you can do to help. Make sure your running a heater. I hear it helps dislove the salt. As soon as the cloudiness goes away get rid of the Airator, does nothing but cause salt buildup and i hear it messes up the CO or oxination, do some research as im not a very scientific guy.

Ps. just let the tank sit in no time it will be crystal clear.

Got the heater going. The water is right at 78*.

The tank is looking much better now. We've been rinsing off the filter media every day and keeping an eye on the salinity (1.023). Ordered a test kit, too!
