so one night it reached 93 degrees in my house, so i had a fan blowing on the water and it was totally fine, then my sister took the fan cause she said she was hott, and it was hers (she took it while i was sleeping)
    so the heat killed

i dont know how i am going to replenish this, with the need of a pump for a return for my sump, and a new skimmer for a 135, its just too much : /

well just thought i would share that, hopefully his doesnt happen to anyone else

Damn that sucks... I am so glad I put my tank in a relatively small room with its own AC.

When I lived w/ my parents, my sisters tried so hard to kill my oscars, then my piranahs by putting whatever in the tank. A little bleach here, etc... you have no idea how many back to back water changes I did when my sister fessed up to putting bleach in the oscar tank.

Once again one of those digital temp warning sensors would have been a great investment...

Great insurance for only ~$10-15. (At PetsMart)

Just don't depend on only for determining water temp.

Set alarm to go off at degree or so below low end, and degree or so beyond high end.

I have one in both main and nano. Have had a couple of "warnings" since using, saving me much grief.

Sorry about loss. Know it is emotional as much as financial. :-/
