Just keep waiting it sucks I know man but it will cycle with time im going on around 4 weeks and I used all dry and raw shrimp. My ammonia has been at 0 and nitrites stuck for over a week at around 4 so just hang in there. 4 weeks I have some diatoms come and starting to go away not sure why but hope that gives you and idea on timeline.

PS. be ready with your cuc when it's time, be ready for the algea blooms also. Have things on hand like gfo, phos-ban, or gfo sponges if you need to use them. Be ready with the test kits, the end can be a real BIT** if your not ready to battle. Just have a game plan bro.

If you want to add Dr. Tim's or some Bio Spira then go for it. I'm an impatient person by nature. All you would be doing is adding BB anyways, I don't see no harm in doing it.

18 days total so far. my concern is that teh ammonia appeard over night, and hasnt changed at all. i tested with 2 doffernt API test kits, and a Sailfert ammonia test too, still reads teh same. im not seeing the slow rise of ammonia, then it gets over ran by nitrites, and so on and so forth... ive seen an over night gain of +2 ammo, and all stop.
