Subbed in. Looks great! I'm interested to watch because I currently have one of these in my basement awaiting funding.

I hope to get it sanded and stained tonight, I'll let that dry all day Saturday, and then cut the holes or the return/overflow in the stand, plb it all up and start filling. I'm going to mix the salt in the tank over night then add the sand bed on Monday, and rocks when all that sand settles out. Anyone have any words of wisdom on adding sand?

couple ways...add the sand and rock..get it all in place and then you can add your water slowly..with out much fuss...or you can add water and then rock and put your sand in slowly and have a cloudy tank for awhile...I prefere the first suggestion. jmo : )

stand is stained, back of the tank is panted, and tank is full of water.

the return pump is scilent, so im happy with that, BUT, once the return water hits the PVC the came with the tank and goes back into the main tank, it sounds like your spraying a hose into a batch tub. both returns are fully submerged, and i am 100% confused on why this is happening. theres no way i can leave it like this.

also i installed my MP40 which i was super excited about, but its insainly noisy and vibrates teh dog mess out of everything. i fiddled around with the postioning for a half hour before i gave up and im seconds away from punting this P.O.S. across my yard. what the frick?!

needless to say, after 9 hours today, and all the careful planning and money spent on this thing i am completly dissapointed, ive hit a wall and i want to kill something.

please help me out for i take a baseball bat to this cube.

I will buy te mp40 from you. How high do you have it turned up? Also, did you admit it for the width of yor tank?
