    Drip Rate

The More contact time, Slower drip the more potent the Less contact time, Faster Drip the weaker the solution you are adding to the tank.
I may be able to get you a bucket of large media that a friend ordered that he did not use, I'll find out tomorrow, It will be Generic media from Coralvue but is the large media. Let me see how generous he feels and I'll LYK.

Hello Guy's, Thought i would update the info here a little. I have already water tested the New Tank today and drained everything to start the process of moving all my inhabitants from the 59gal into the New Rimless 48X24X21H 105gal W/65gal Sump and new stand/canopy. All the Equipment will be run off one Water Blaster 7000 return pump and everything will be confined to the stand,
I have upgraded the lighting to 2 X 250W HQI along with my T5's and Reefbrite Led Strip,
Other than adding some additional Live Rock to create more real estate for the Coral i already have that has outgrown the smaller tank everything else will be the same.
One difference i went with a 18" wide center overflow with duel drains and duel returns.
A good friend built me an awesome stand with full access front doors 3 and side doors on both sides, Plus they all just snap off for easy maintenance, Way Cool.
I would love to have some photo's but my camera took a crap and my phone cord is missing to load the photo's. As soon as i can get a camera i will post them.

Bill, Good to hear. that said, I feel it is necessary for you to kill this thread and begin anew as you have a new box of glass to talk about.

BTW, did you see that photo of the Stylo I got from ya? it is FLAT OUT ROCKING in the new tank. I sweat it has noticeable growth. the birdsnest isnt quite so happy right now as is the one I got from someone else. the digi you sent along has polyped out but still hasnt seen any color shift yet. not really sure what it will look like. the Poci is also doing very well and I think it has thickened up considerably.

I cannot wait to see your new tank and setup. Glad you are doing a single pump driven system. I am loving the single on mine runing everythign but the closed loop.

are you running your skimmer off it as well? I thought you were useing those bubble blasters with the needlewheels for your skimmers. or did you get a new one and I missed that somewheres along the line?

    Skimmer Sneak

Funny, Yeah when Zach took his tank down i sold the Vertex/BB and bought his I-Tech W/Tunze Hydrofoamer pump. I think you are right and i will start a new thread as soon as i get hold of a camera. The new set up is sweet, Mel made an awesome stand and canopy for the center piece of this new tank. Ocea made the tank through AC and Off we Go!
Already did all the plumbing and I had Pre done the Power adding 2 x 20amp circuits to run the system. Only thing i forgot is Internet for my Apex so looks like I'll go wireless for this one.
Hoping to make the transfer this weekend if possible, Then when it all settles down the PB tang comes home! Woot...
That Stylo is looking good, It's very hearty.

Yes, he did do some AWESOME cabinet work on his stand and I cannot wait to see yours. Maybe soon in person. I would volunteer to help ya out this weekend, but the MRs is going to Bell Buckle and I have both boys to my self ALL DAY! we are gonna build a robot costume for the older one and then build some fire boats out of wood that we got in kits at home depot the other week.

Yea, I always loved that stylo. it was one of my favorite pieces cause it grows super fast and has incredible color. it is less than 1.2 way up in the tank, and seems extremely happy where it is. I did find that in the old tank, it didnt like being right by the light. it lost alot of color when it gets too much light. the lower it is the richer the pink and purple seems to be.

not to jack your thread or anythign but here are some comparison shots:
