Nice looking tank. Dingo, the first page said he was using a 250w MH pendant, Phoenix bulb and some T5s.

    Update

Due to laziness on my part, The tank has had a major set back, Almost all corals (SPS) are dead or barely hanging on!
Due to a extra fan wire to run another fan in series that got into the tank.
It was in the water for about 20hrs before i realised what was causing the problem. All the coral has lost it's color and they look Pastel and many have no signs of life. Some are showing a little polyp ext but look very bad and the chances of them coming back are a guess at this point.
I have been doing water changes every day and running massive amounts of carbon and praying a lot but only time will tell what makes it and what don't. The only good thing is my LPS and Zoas and Fish are OK so it seems.
I had found red bugs and used interceptor and thought is was a bad reaction from the treatment, Thus the 20hrs of it getting shocked as i was not looking for it. Luck it was only 12v DC or all would be lost.
I also have since properly mounted the fans in the canopy, Hindsight is 20/20

A friend suggested I test for Copper as the plastic connector possibly had Copper connections inside the piece that was in the tank for 20hrs, Tested and it showed no trace of copper, So all the Havoc was from the Current in the water.
This may be the Final Blow that gets me out of reefing, At least for a while while i think about weather i want to dump more money in this very fragile hobby?

I am so sorry. This is a terrible thing to happen and I wish you and your tank the best!

Sorry Bill. 12V of DC is still alot. Give it some time, I bet more of those corals will be alright than it seems now.

    Recovery

I hope your right, Although some are losing flesh and look like they are history. The Caps especially have started to flake off what little color had remained, And some Acros are showing no polyps or any signs of life.
Several years ago i had a fuge light go into the sump of my 185, But that shorted out in a second (Burned the wire) and the coral then looked similair to now. Most of them did recover but it took many months before they looked like before the shock, and that was a split second this was 20 hrs.
Lindsay, I think your stuff may be one's that may come back but it's too early to tell yet. I may take some things to Mel's tank for recovery time
as some of my pieces are hard to come by, Others are not replaceable.
    Thanks for the support guy's
    Bill:(
PS, Yes it had a ground Probe, Luckily

That is why I want to set up a frag tank. I want back ups of all my corals. Even if it is a tiny 1/4" frag. Something is better than nothing. Forest Gump once said "**** Happens". The best we can do is try to prepare for it.

I hope everything comes back to life.
