It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I kept and raised Bimaculoides for years.

    You will need:

An escape proof tank, even the tiniest hole is an exist.
While they will take most foods, a diet of sea food based meats such as clams, scallops and SW fish is best. I feed Little Neck Clams that I bought at the local super markets. If you buy these clams and the shell is tightly shut they are probably still alive. I placed them in the tank alive and my octopi could eat them at their leisure. Cut up pieces of scallops and fish worked well also.
Initially they can be very nocturnal, but they are so intelligent that they adapt and want to interact with you during the day.
Toys of all types should be provided to keep them busy and interested. Legos work well, bottles to open, anything that gives them a challenge.

Consider that the life span is 9 months to 1 year.

Keeping any Octopi is more like keeping a cat, not your average tropical fish, it's a commitment.

Lastly this link is a must have for anyone consider keeping Cephalopods.
