bio-balls "OUT OF HERE"

I am actually doing the same thing as per advice of 3reef members. I don't have bioballs, I actually have ceramic noddle things that come with the aquaclear filter, and I put in a skimmer recently and am removing the ceramics slowly over the course of the next month or so. I am doing about 1/4 a week. From what I gather on the forums these and bioballs become nitrate factories but its best to remove little by little.
