Bio cube lighting + clam question

    what kinda clam can live under the stock bio cube lighting? and what kindacare do they need if i get 1

    How long have you had the tank up? most of the time PC's are not good enough for a clam, but ive seen it done. You can try a derasa,but look to try and get a bigger then 4 inch one, because the bigger they get, the less light they need.

    My jbj 28 has the new "quad" cp lights and i had to move corals down due to colors washing out.I agree with most that pc's are the least favorite lights,but some of this new stuff out now has better par values then ever before.I've seen quite a few nano owners have clams in theirs,but my concern isn't the lighting,it's the water quality,it's alot more work to keep a little tank stable as opposed to a big one with a sump and refugium,but if your tank is matured and you have good stable params,then go for it.:)

    my tank is not stable enuff yet im just planning for the future i am going to be puting live rock ruble in the back of the bio cube instead of bio balls so that shuild allso help lots ill make sure my parameters are good before i get 1 do i have to have good calcium levels for clams?
