Bio Pellets slow

    Man Its been over a month now and theres been no detectable benefits from running this bio pellet reactor.Anyone else have similar results?

    All the stuff I've seen in various manufacturer info says 2-4 weeks before any real results, so you could just be getting there. As for experience, not yet, my stuff should be in in a few days. :)

    What pellets are you using, and do you have a heavy bio-load?

    2 fishes brand and I do have a semi large bio-load (12 fish in 75 gallon)

    Where's the output from the reactor in relation to the skimmer input?

    My sump has 3 chambers the first is the drain from tank and skimmer second is return and third is fuge. I have the bio reactor in the second chamber drawing and returning there.

    Place the output of your reactor into the skimmer chamber, near the skimmer pump.

    I dont know if those are the pellets that are already seeded but it took mine about 2-3 months to kick in. Let me restate that. I had a previous set of pellets that I started using and I seeded them with Microbacter 7. Needless to say those pellets failed so I started a new brand from Vertex which came seeded and it took about an additional 2 weeks before mine kicked in. But I know I need to add more because I do have a semi, kinda, probably, maybe heavy bio load.
