I first used the product two years ago when I setup my first saltwater tank(125 gallon) and it worked wonders. Only downfall on my part since I was a newb was the water I used came from their display tank(which I recently bought) and it had high nitrates. So I had a lot of initial deaths but I did cycle in a few days with 150 lbs of live rock.

Do you have an update of the tank a week after?

    Day 6 update

    Ammonia is undetectable
Nitrite is less than .25 ppm almost undetectable
I have some nitrates. My nitrate kit is crappy but they are definitely on the lower end.

The cycle is complete. All inhabitants are eating and seem very happy.

I stand 100% behind this product. Without Bio spira, it would have taken me 8 or 9 months to introduce this many fish to my tank. Not to mention the hundreds in shipping costs to order one fish at a time.

If anyone out there is on the fence... Go for it! It worked miracles and saved me 6 weeks of staring at an empty tank. I am officially a believer.

    Day 11 final update

    Ammonia - 0
    nitrite - 0
    nitrate - 0

In well under 2 weeks the tank is cycled. During this time I did not notice any harmful levels of any toxins.

On day two, all six fish were eating and healthy. Possibly due to the excellent packing, shipping, and quality of LiveAquaria livestock.(Their 14 day guarantee is unheard of in this industry.) I will buy all of my livestock from them in the future.

Since my tank is a fish only predator tank, I will probably dose some Coppersafe in the weeks to come. Contrary to the rumor mill, copper is safe for fish-only display tanks. It will not kill the beneficial bacteria. My local LFS runs copper in all of the livestock tanks with no ill effects.

Never put copper in a reef tank!!!

P.S. If anyone knows how to post photos on here, pm me and tell me how.
