Thanks for the compliments. Everything to get the tank running is already in hand, or on its way except for sand and rock :(. Money is flowing out quickly, so I may have to wait until next week for that. I wish someone locally had some good dry rock...50lbs @ 6.95/lb is not going to happen.

John at reefcleaners has 50lbs of baserock for $120 and free shipping, it's great rock too. Sure beats the $350.

haha...I was actually just emailing back and forth with John yesterday. I am fairly certain that is what I am going to get...just need a little funds to free up. Doing the build for this tank, and the small LED build at the same time has been brutal on the old wallet.

Got my light last week and made the doors for my stand today. Need to get them painted, then it is time to get some water in it.

I like that fuge is viewable.. nice touch cant wait to see it all done. K+ you could frame that bottom opening with some door casing or molding if you werent putting door on the front of stand too.. get some water, sand, and rock in there asap!

Thanks for the comments. It will probably be a couple of weeks before I can get the rock. Any suggestions on where to get it? I am going to go with dry rock.

Also, this is a brand new tank, should I still leak test it?
