Ive been looking to upgrade the stock pump in my biocube but have seen mixed results from everyone. I think the best 2 options for me would be the Rio 6HF or Maxi Jet 1200. Are these the correct outputs for the pumps?
    Maxi-jet: 295 GPH@22 watts
    Rio 6HF: 350 GPH @ 15 watts

I wanted something with good flow that runs as cool as possible. I have replaced the stock pump on the BC14 with the Maxi-Jet 900 and I dont have any problems with it. Thanks!

MJ1200 all the way, less heat with great output.

I had my cube set up with a MJ1200. HOWEVER, I ran into an issue with the MJ1200 pumping faster than the chambers filled. But this was because I wasn't using the stock filter. I never tried with the filter that was built for the cube, so you may or may not run into this issue.

I made a couple of changes to accommodate but I definitely loved the MJ1200 over the stock pump.
