Biocube 29 weak lighting??

    isnt the lighting for the Biocube 29 rather weak for watts per gallon??? Have people had good luck with the 29 gallon size???

    They do great for certain things. Most softies will grow just fine in them. IMO there is no nano that comes equipped to do any coral, other than the MH pendant upgraded ones.

    the girl who won tank of the month on rc has a 29 gallon bio cube with 3 pc bulbs and keeps anything and everything alive in it, its actually one of the nicest looking tank ive ever seen. One thing to member is throw out the watts per gallon rule its old and out dated, it all depends on the lights you have.

    well my friend will have to either buy two new bulbs(daylight and atinics) or buy like a sunpod or one of those coralife aqualight compact florescent . From research i know the replacement bulbs are kinda price for the stock hood for the cube. wouldnt make more sense to upgrade the lighting for a little more $$$$????
