I am going to LFS 2marow and they only have a coralife 14k, i supplement 4 bulb T5HO actinic and do you think it will be nice and blue?

 

Actually corelife is pretty white, but then again, I dont have T5HO actinic to supplement and see how they would look together but IMO phoenix is worth the wait because you get great coloration as well as growth in your corals plus dont forget the awesome shimmer in your surface. I would def recommend pheonix over coralife, but then that's just me.

After reading so many discussions and being member of Reef Central, R2R, WAMAS and here on these forums. This is the best description I can Give for these bulb. They go same for 150 and 250 watts. I ordered mine through amazon and got it only after 2 days.

1. Pheonix 14K(by far the best)
2. Ushio(this bulb is better in 20K and way blueish because at 20K it is able to penetrate and reach same PAR through any cloudiness water due to rich nutrients as phoenix 14K, but it has OKs reviews not great).
3. Coralife 14K

If you have 400 watts then the whole story changes.

Okay, i mean i have some good supplement..The 10k alone is not very bright and when the T5hO come on its a whole different story..I might go over there today and see if they can fire it up there.

Okay, I am going to get the pheonix actually now, i found a deal online and i am going to order today..I just dont wanna make a bad decision with the coralife...

 

Awesome. If you have any zoas, watch how they pop up under phoenix without your actinic lights on. Also keep track of their coloration now and after you put up phoenix. I think you will be glad.
