I know this is gonna be a whole lotta controversy...but here it goes :)

What corals (besides acros obviously) would you stay away from in a BioCube 14gallon

    One - 50/50 - 24W
    One - Actinic - 24W

Eventually I will be adding another 24W (nanotuners mod) and what will that open possibility wise? Many sites say "moderate" or "high" lighting....

Well for a 14gal tank, that lighting should be fine for most soft corals and lps. Sps...well the amount of watts is enough, but the intensity is not quite there. If you were to try any sps, i would say montipora. For the sps, you would probably be able to keep them, but i remember with my pcs they do lose color. No to clams...i found that the hard way.
