Alright, so I currently setup my tank with a 3 inch sand bed and was just told that was a bad idea.. My tank is only a few weeks old and I can take some out of needed. What are your thoughts on this whole situation?

    Thanks

The only problem I can see with a sand bed is that fine particles could get jammed up in the filter. See about getting a small blend of ultra fine crushed coral. It's just a step more coarse that sand... The heavier particles wont get picket up. But truthfully, you should be fine. Good luck!
