It is a dry heat, yeah right !
The clown just needs to adjust to the flow. Small clown fish and new clown fish may appear to be struggling against the flow but they are fine. I would turn the pump back on.

Pump needs to go back on asap or youll have major problems. If the clown really cant swim against a biocube pump then the clown is having serious health issues.

you should upgrade the pump to a stonger one. you need to turn it back on know or the clown will die from lack off air.

I upgraded the pump because the Biocube 29 wasn't strong enough. My clowns routinely play in the direct current. The clown shouldn't have issues holding its own against the stock pump.

I had the same issue with my clowns so for the first night I shut off my power head until morning (I left on my MJ 900 for filtration biocube 14). They love the flow now it just took them time to adjust. So as others have stated just turn the pump on and they will adjust.

Clowns love flow. As darkhaven mentioned they like to surf across the tank. Fighting the current also makes them stronger & healthier, imo.
