Biocube's Build Thread, Tank teardown 1/6/14

Thank you so much for the kind words. It's been really fun taking the cube and slowly transforming it into something better over time.

 

That 4 day compressed into 40 seconds vid is super cool?
How did you do it? GoPro and other software too?

 

That time lapse was super duper sweet. Were those all starfish on the back wall or new born snails? Love the colors in the tank too.

Thanks, those were baby starfish. I plan to get better colors soon, I have been focusing on growth & water clarity. Now that I have that figured out I plan to add Coral Colors to that list.

 

Quick update, I have been really busy the past few days. I was going to start Warner Marine C-Max, I hope to have time this Tue/Wed to finally implement this into my system. I did on the other hand start Warner Marine Amino Acids, so far I see deeper/richer colors in some SPS, I have only been using it for about two weeks.

So far I'm very pleased with his Aminos, props to Warner Marine.

 

Well today I was forced to restart my Apex controller because of my WXM module, it was suppose to run PULSE mode with Anti. My MP10s were not in sync, I did some tweaking and still couldn't fix it.... So when all else fails..... Restart

Whoa!!! It has been 11 days since I posted on my thread!!!!!

I have been putting my tank on the back burner for the past month, been really busy with work, family and buying a new car.

My system has been really stable, Iv been keeping my parameters on the lower end to prepare for BioPellets.

4 week average:
Ph - 8.20
7.29 Alk
Ca - 395
Mag - 1350
p04 - .06ppm

I just started using GFO with a slight tumble and when I come back from vacation I plan to use Warner Marine CalMax.

 

All the param is spot on, Chris! You make it sound easy.
