The only thing I can think of is maybe when draining water to move tank and then filling it shocked the corals or released nitrogen from your sand bed. I'm sure your tank won't crash but you may lose some coral.

I thought that right away, thats why I did the water change. I am planning on doing one around noon.

I do have a weird film on the surface of my water, so I moved more water flow to the top.

I once had film on surface too. I rigged a piece of egg crate to hold some floss between chamber 1 & 2 where all the flow goes and that got rid of it for me. I now always have my floss there since I have no place for it in my sump...it gets plenty dirty there

    Just installed my reactor..

1 Tbsp PhosBan and 3 Tbsp Carbon.

    7/24 (Start PhosBan) 0.17ppm - Hanna Checker

Very low flow (20-35 gph) to prevent PhosBan from tumbling and turning into dust.

Do you have them mixed together?

No, I ordered extra foam disks. I have PhosBan on the bottom and carbon 3-4 inches above.

Oh man! Well, not having a skimmer isn't that bad. Just do a larger water change and it should be fine.
