Keep you alk steady and your pH will be fine as long as it stays steady. You do not need to chase a specific value but keep things steady.

Aerate the room for an hour or so at the coolest time of day that should provide enough removal of CO2 to help. Keep the AC running during this time if you do not have a box fan.

    Thanks John!

I will see when the coolest time of the day is and try to get some fresh air into the apartment. I have not had one window open for two weeks so my PH hits 7.75 at night and 8.03 during the day.

    Will that be okay?

That is not crazy bad and quite doable.

I think that's fine as well. Stable is much more important than the number. Running like you are at ~7.9 on avearage there isn't too far off what many tanks on calcium reactors run at.

    Thanks :)

I feel better knowing everything is going to be okay now.

What would you say be the absolute threshold for PH?

    7.7

I've bottomed-out at 7.75 myself before; no ill effects. I'd get real nervous under 7.7 however.

I wen the BRS (2 Part) route and picked up dosing pumps and a controller a few months back.

The next few nights are suppose to be in the 60's, I open up the apartment for an hour or so to get some good air exchange.

Let that tank breathe my friend! Air exchange never hurts. If your ph is still consistently low you could try a hydroxide solution. Seachem makes a product like that that only raises ph. That shouldnt be a problem though.
