Thats cool and a good thing for your parameters. I wish I could say the same for down here but we still have 3 more months of it including its still hurricane season.

Congrats on the frags and being able to open things up. The brown bag looks good but we will need to see after it grows some more if we can ID it. Happy Corals may have a good idea on what it is.

Thanks guys, I'll contact Happy for a exact ID.

I am more excited about my PH right now, looking forward to see how high it peaks today.

And I am swapping out my Hanna Checker for a Phosphorous ULR. I called Hanna and they said what I am experiencing is normal with the Phosphate Checker.

This morning I tested for phosphates using the Hanna Checker, here are my results.
    Test 1: .21ppm
    Test 2. .11ppm
    Test 3. .08 ppm

I am honestly sick if going through reagents daily to get a ballpark in my phosphate levels.

    I'll post it tonight.

The only downside is you need to do some minor math to convert ppb to ppm. But I'd rather have a more accurate tester.

    Equation: PPB x 3.066/1000
    Example: 15 x 3.066/1000 = 0.04599ppm

Was 103F here at 1AM last night. Reached a cool 93F for about 15 minutes at sunrise. :p
