    Got a question on the overflow it the power goes out and turns back on does everything flow again? Do you need to siphon the overflow

    I only needed to start the overflow once, when the power goes out the water level in the sump raises a little. But I also have a check valve installed on my return pump to stop water from flowing back into the tank.

    Ok I am thinking of getting a 30g biocube my LFS has a used one and I wanted to add a sump. The only thing that I worry about is when the power cones back on it wont over fill my tank.

    You should be okay, just make sure you have a check valve on your return.
