    I almost tried indoor when I was in FL, but the other family members opted out.

    Lately my corals have been looking not so happy, I turned off my supplemental LEDs and things have bounced back a little.

    I plan to remove my True UV (398nm) and replace my fans because of noise.

    Well the day has finally come, my ALK doser from BRS is almost dead. For the past few weeks when the doser would turn on it would clunk. This morning it clunked and make an awful sound then quieted down.

    Should I buy the same pump or are there better pumps out there?

    I got them used so I really have no idea, I looked at the serial number and I gathered 2006 was the year they were made. But idk if that's correct, that seems a little long.

    Why remove the UV? They give nice color

    I removed them because of burning my corals. I noticed the base of my corals were turning white and one was about to RTN.

    I turned off my supplements and everything bounced back, I still have Cyan,Green, Red and Violet. But UV was taken out until more research has been taken.
