    Today I did a 5 gallon water change and took advantage of Bulk Reef Supply 10.31% off sale.

    I picked up a new dosing pump for 71.99! Not a bad deal when most stand alone pumps are in the 79.99 - 119.99 range.

    Got a question on your cap on the top of your overflow. Do you have a hole drilled in the cap? I was looking at some youtube videos on them and a guy had drilled 2 holes one for priming and the other so it does not overflow everything. HOW TO: DIY Aquarium Overflow - YouTube

    Hey I only have 1 hole drilled in mine (tall stand pipe), I have heard of the check valve mod after the fact. From what I understand it's only used to prime the system and after that nothing more.

    At night has green polyps.

    Looks like I need to look more into GARF, I know I have a GARF Bonsai but I didn't know GARF stood for anything else.
