Love the storm BioCube! Changing the pulse and power of the MP10 might add to the storm.

I prefer the BRS GFO as well.

The HC is awesome but likely way overkill for you, plus it's considerably more expensive.

Looks really good. I want to write an additional option into the typhon to do the same thing. Which LEDs turn on and off for the effect?

Already one step ahead of ya, I plan to purchase the wireless module for my Apex unit in the next few months. When the storm hits my MP10 will go into short pulse mode. :)

You can do it a couple ways. You can run the carbon on the top sandwiched between sponges with space for gfo to tumble below. Or you can run it mixed in together. The downside to this is the GFO lasts longer than the Carbon and you will have to change both when you change. I also question if it's as efficient run like this.

I am experimenting with the new brightwell Xport P04. It can be run for up to a few months supposedly and never leach. It also doesnt' need to tumble so using it with carbon would be very easy. I'm putting it in tonight. I'm up to .1 ppm phos which is as high as I have seen it in my reef. (my marineland maxijet crapped out and I have been waiting on my lfs to get me a cobalt MJ to replace it)

Wow... the mods you did to your BC29 are awesome! :) If I weren't going to college in two years, I'd probably try to copy you. ;) Anyways, great hob on the tank! How does the Tunze 9002 preform?

Thanks, the Tunze 9002 is great but only if it has the same water level at all times. It was pretty much useless on my BC until I got a ATO.
