RC has way more tank of the month winners than Seachem... It has what you need.

Iv read great things about RC but since I started my coralline algae has disappeared. I'm going to try Seachem again and see how my tank reacts. I like how Seachem has more Trace Elements vs RC, in my situation 10 gallon water change over two days can make a drastic difference in my tank.

I'll keep you posted with my results, I'll also post results with my new test kit to see what water has more/less of specific trace elements.

I was just kidding, to ship a tank across the US would cost a lot of $$. I'll see if I can find a local tank builder in IL.

More of what trace elements and based on what? Hopefully not marketing material ;) Also why is more better? Can you improve on the ocean's mix somehow?

I "googled" each salt and found more potassium and other random trace elements in Seachem. I'll had good results with it in the past, it just didn't mix as well, that's why I switched.

I'm just messing with you. I'm a salt nut. And I hate marketing hype that acts like more is better... Natural levels are better. RC has nearly the exact make up of NSW. Change is more likely the culprit and more change by switching back to Seachem will just make it worse.

Dang..... Well I'll try it still and see what happens. ;) I used it before without issues, I'll hope to have the same results.

Salt will be here today & test kits should be here Friday.

I plan to test my water before I do any water changes, I'll post my results when completed.
