Well I left for 4 days and the tank was alive and well. The fish were VERY hungry and corals seemed to have a lot of growth in only a short period of time. I was doing some adjusting to my tank the day before I left at 7pm and turned off my Ca dosing pump. I noticed three days later when in Milwaukee I never turned it back on! I quickly turned the pump back on via Apex and ran for 10 min (hoping this would be enough). I tested my params last night and they were "okay" but Ca was LOW.

    Ca: 300-320
    Alk: 7.9
    Phos: 0.01ppm
    Ph: 8.35
    Temp: 77.8 (constant)

I did a water change last night and plan to do a few more to slowly raise my calcium back up to 420.

Well after a few water changes things are back in order, but I can't seem to get my Mag levels down! This has been a curse in my tank since I started it.

    Ph: 8.03
    SG: 1.026
    Ca: 430
    Alk: 9.06
    Phos: .04ppm
    Mag: 1650ppm!!

Does your salt mix have high mag levels?

    No, I even switched salts!

My only guess would be the Rock has Mag and its always leaching it out.
