    You can grow these dinoflagellates in a tank. Just don't put them in your main tank.

    Same reason why you can see the foam from crashing waves on a moonless night. It's especially fun to go on night-dives and waves your hands in the water really fast. It's very cool stuff.

    I have seen some really cool stuff in the ocean at night. It seems that some of the Bioluminescence sticks to Swordfish too.

    I went there back in 1998 GREAT Place! The tour operators used to be in Casa Del Francis, well part of the "hotel", not sure if they're still there. My husband was the only person allowed to do a cannonball(bad). We went on an old pontoon boat. It was really a great experience! Get to drive on this old bus down dirt roads all while getting drunk...... We stayed at the hotel for a weekend. It was after hurricane Hugo, I believe and they were drying out the Normandy Hotel. If anyone ever gets a chance to visit there or the one in Jamaica in Falmouth DO IT!!!!!!!!
