2 simple questions that I am unsure of and having troubles finding the answer.

My tubing on my reactor is looking a little green on the inside. I imagine that is normal and if so should I clean it out or replace it?

Also, my reactor is placed in the same location as my skimmer. Is that a good placement for it or is there a better place for it?

    Thanks guys/gals

I get a brownish green slime in my tubes as well, and this is perfectly normal. I do however clean them by simply squeezing the tube to break up the slime. Just squeeze the tube every couple of inches and it should break free. And yes, you want the output of the reactor right where your intake of the skimmer is.

Make sure it is placed BEFORE the skimmer.

And, be sure to use lots of air, so the pellets tumble around.

Probably need to change the pellets every few months.

Mine has lowered the nitrates down to almost zero. However, hasn't done anything to lower the phosphate. Not yet, anyway. I've only had it 2-3 weeks. May take a while.
