Hi guys I'm new to the reef community but not new to owning fish tanks. I've had aquariums for a little over 15 years now and I feel that I've done pretty much everything there is to do with freshwater, so I am now moving on to reef tanks. This tank was started 1/16/12 and has made a lot of progress since. Let me know what you guys think!

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
How do you get your snails to line up like that. :)

What type of anemone is that?

    Great scape.

Wait, not all snails line up in single file lines? ;)

the anemone is a Halcurias carlgrenis aka Japenese Halcurias, they are non-photosynthetic and like cooler waters, 60-70 degrees, burr.

And thanks, I'll try to get a pic of the full tank, the last pic is only 1/2 of the tank lol....

I hope those clowns dont try to get that nem to be a host. Free, easy lunch for that thing.

    Cool tank though anyhow.

Well, as far as keeping it with fish, anything of decent size it won't bother. I had a really small occelaris orginally and he gobled him right up, but my current two I'd say are around a 1''-1 1/2'' mark and he doesn't seem to bother them. As far as bothering any corals I have had no issues yet though even fully extended the anemone is still several inches away from my next closest corals(ricordia) ....keep in mind these are very small anemones ideal for nano reef tanks..

Idk if I'm alowed to post links on here but theres one for sale ...At livesquaria. com in the Divers den NFS section.....
