    As some of you know, I crushed my birdsnest when removing it while I was creating my double islands. I fragged the pieces, and the biggest one is back on the reef. The other 2 are growing very nicely.

    Awesome and congratulations! Doesn't really suprise me though. IMO most corals are way more hardy than we give them credit for and can handle some pretty extreme treatment. Afterall if a coral died everytime it got broke there wouldn't be any reefs in the world.
    Now I'm not saying go and abuse your corals, just pointing out that most can take more than we dish out.

    True That!!! I used to be sooooo scared to keep them. Now I have learned that they are alot more resiliant than I ever thought.

    First, nice tank and glad to here the coral is doing well. Second, I fully agree with this statement. While they are not the toughest animals on the planet, they can hold their own pretty well. I've personally dropped them on the ground, broken them in the tank, cut them, scraped them and they have always seemed to recover.

    sweet, a guy here had one almost completly die out and now its comming back. They just look so delicate i think they would be so hard to keep!
