    Hey,

I just got back from a frag swap where I picked up a decent sized pink birds nest for 20$. It was attached to some stupid plastic reef plug. I put it in a crevice and the plastic thing didn't hold. Short story it fell into my frogspawn and I don't know how long it was there. The pointy edges cut some of the frogspawn tentacles but does anyone know what kind of damage the frogspawn can do to the sps?

How long were they intertangled? I would think any damage would be minimal unless there for an extented period.

Unless you see damage to the SPS, I think it'll be fine. Usually you'll see some sort of sloughing of the tissue if it got attacked.

So the birds nest definitely got stung. Some flesh has come off and some polyps have turned brown (near the base) however; the other parts are very nice bright pink and the polyps show during the light cycle so I think it's going to be ok.
